Social Entrepreneurship and Non-Profit Management Minor

[view course requirements here]

Do you want to help solve social problems by working in a not-for profit or starting your own socially oriented organization? The Social Entrepreneurship Program at Samford University provides students with both the conceptual framework and skills needed to help address critical societal problems in the local, national, and global community. With courses offered every semester and a curriculum composed of just 22 credit hours, the social entrepreneurship and nonprofit management minor offers non-business students the opportunity to complement their respective majors with foundational business knowledge and specific training in social entrepreneurship and nonprofit management. Students successfully completing the minor should obtain the broad perspective and skills needed to find employment in nonprofit organizations or for-profit firms pursuing social missions.
